Corn Oil

Corn oil is extracted from the sprouted part of the caryopsis of the corn seed. The oil has a dark red colour but after refining it takes on a lighter and clearer shade. Its composition is rich in omega 6 and omega 9 polyunsaturated fats. Corn oil brings benefits in the management of blood cholesterol levels and consequently contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. It also contains a good amount of vitamin E, an excellent antioxidant that reduces cellular aging. We recommend the use of raw corn oil “Cepelli” to maintain its properties unchanged.

Peanut Oil

Peanut oil is obtained from the seeds contained within the shell by cold pressing. The oil has a light yellow colour and its taste is sweet and reminiscent of hazelnut. It has a high content of oleic acid, antioxidants and a low level of fats. These peculiarities make peanut oil an excellent cooking oil, especially for frying (due to its smoking point).

Compared to the oil that you buy in supermarkets, the Peanut Oil “Cepelli” has a more intense color and a stronger flavor.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower Oil has a very interesting composition, in which oleic acid and linoleic acid are present, both forerunners of the essential omega 3 and omega 6 acids, essential for a proper cardiac activity. In the culinary tradition it is often used in the preparation of sweets and mayonnaise.

Compared to the oil available in supermarkets (practically colourless) Sunflower oil “Cepelli” is characterized by a straw yellow colour.
